 Performing State- In the performing state, a person is trying to earn their self-value, peace, happiness, or acceptance. They may use perfectionism, trying to “fix themselves,” attempting to win people’s approval, or any other activity aimed at gaining approval, intimacy, or personal value.

All of us, to one degree or another, have shut down our emotions. We’ve all experienced pain, or gone through a traumatic experience, and subconsciously decided to “numb out” in that area. When we do this, we essentially tune out the voice of our intuition and emotions. This inner-voice is our most authentic and intuitive self, and it’s time we unlock it. It’s time to reconnect to your authentic emotions, passions, purpose and intuition.
